Thunder Match Technology (TMT), one of Malaysia’s foremost technology retailers, celebrated the grand launch of Southeast Asia’s first HP Experience Hub, located at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, in partnership with HP Malaysia.

The flagship HP Experience Hub is the latest milestone in the long-term partnership between HP and TMT with the overall objective of propelling Malaysia’s consumer and corporate tech as well as Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industries by establishing a space to facilitate the seamless online-to-offline journey that is hyperpersonal to each patron.

HP’s relationship with TMT was cemented in 2012 with the launch of the HP concept store in Plaza Lowyat. Since then, TMT has been at the forefront of HP’s ventures in Malaysia through stores, interactive campaigns and outreach initiatives building the brand’s presence in the market whilst simultaneously nurturing Malaysia’s ICT market.

Commenting on the partnership with HP, Eric Chan, Sales and Marketing Director at TMT said: “TMT is proud to have been a part of HP’s journey in Malaysia. This collaboration has not only been instrumental in the growth of TMT to our position now as industry leaders but we believe it has contributed significantly to the growth and development in IT usage across the board.”

“This Grand Launch marks a new milestone in our relationship with HP, and we are looking forward to more collaboration with HP to provide the best retail experience for our customers whilst simultaneously contributing to the overall growth of the industry and adoption of technology,” he added.

The HP Experience Hub is a culmination of this long-term collaboration that sees TMT bring forth and highlight the entirety of HP’s range of products and services in a unique experiential manner that looks to add value for patrons from all backgrounds.

“Consumers today demand a seamless retail experience from online to offline, and the HP Experience Hub aims to do just that by giving our Southeast Asian online shoppers access to customer service agents who guide them through their buying experience live, thus giving them a richer, more personalised experience—as if they were shopping at our physical stores,” said Alex Tan, Managing Director atr HP Malaysia. “The HP Experience Hub is a proud reflection of our commitment to putting customers at the centre of everything we do.”

The HP Experience Hub is designed to offer consumers a personalised introduction and journey through the entire range of HP products from all the different categories, including desktops, laptops, printers and more. It caters to a variety of customers, including those seeking to purchase items for personal use and those looking to furnish their businesses with HP products.

With the whole range of products on display, customers can get a hands-on experience whilst testing the products as well as having the opportunity to compare and contrast products to find what best suits their needs. This is made all the easier with the HP Experience Hub’s expert in-store advisors, who can provide advice and guidance on selecting the right products based on individual requirements.

The HP Experience Hub also features an interactive game wall that allows customers to try their hand at fun interactive games using the latest in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technology whilst simultaneously earning exciting rewards. There is also a dedicated printer corner, which not only showcases the full range of products, but also features interactive videos and guides to educate customers on the various options and considerations before making a selection.

In line with HP’s omni-channel retail experience focus, the HP Experience Hub also offers a completely online virtual experience that is equally rewarding for customers. The HP Experience Hub conducts daily livestream sessions with a virtual promoter that is physically in store and can assist buyers with their queries online in a one to many configuration. This approach increases accessibility and widens their reach to provide impeccable service to as many people as possible.

With a small cafe offering drinks as well as comfortable seating and tables, patrons can enjoy an elevated experience pursuing the products and making purchasing decisions.  There are even experiential rooms designed to give customers a feel of how the tech gadgets would look and feel in their set-ups.  For those looking for a personalised touch, the HP Experience Hub also offers engraving services that are available across all product ranges.
