The official partnership signing between Fusionex, a leading data technology provider and AliBaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of AliBaba Group which was held yesterday at St Regis Kuala Lumpur, was a big success. The partnership is set to transform data management and maximise businesses IT investments. Simon Hu, the CEO of Alibaba Cloud, Raymond Ma, Head of ASEAN & ANZ, AliBaba Cloud and Dato’ Seri Ivan Teh, the CEO of Fusionex were on hand to officiate the partnership.
The partnership will see Fusionex big data solutions being deployed on AliBaba’s cloud infrastructure to become a key Alibaba Cloud go-to-market partner in the ASEAN market to provide clients with a total solution.
Raymond Ma who was on hand for the signing was pleased with the collaboration. “As we enter a new era of digital transformation, businesses across the ASEAN region require new levels of support to tap into the emerging opportunities. Machine Intelligence and cloud computing combined with big data analytics will play a crucial role as the computing infrastructure. We are pleased to partner with Fusionex who shares our vision of developing the next generation of technology, and empowering our customers with drivers of change.”
Ivan Teh too expressed his delight with the partnership. “Today’s partnership marks an exciting step towards Fusionex’s goal of further advancing our technology and expanding our reach. We are delighted to partner with AliBaba Cloud to support the digital transformation of ASEAN countries. The sophisticated cloud services provided bu AliBaba Cloud and data technology offered by Fusionex will compliment each other and create synergy in servicing our customers more swiftly and effectively as well as providing them the opportunity to scale at a much faster rate.”
To a question by media about the price range of the solutions during the media Q&A session, Ivan said their solutions help both the SME and large corporations and will cater to the specific needs of both. He added that for startups and small enterprises, it won’t make sense to purchase the whole infrastructure but what they offer is an opportunity to grow and scale as and when the company sees fit, therefore not burdening the finances of the small enterprise.
Fusionex GIANT is already widely used across industries such as the financial services, hospitality, insurance, airlines and more; with existing corporate clientele including Airasia, CIMB, DHL, Citibank, American Airlines, Celcom, Petronas, Singtel, Shell, Qantas, AIG, ING and many more.
