Cyberjaya Innovation Week Brings Together the Best of Malaysia’s Innovation

Cyberjaya is leading the way in driving innovation in Malaysia. And, as a testament to this leading status, it will again be bringing together its thriving collaborative tech ecosystem for Cyberjaya Innovation Week. This event will be held from 28 August to 10 September 2023 and is expected to bring in some 10,000 participants from various organisations, industries, and backgrounds.

Since its launch in 1997, Cyberjaya has flourished as a thriving global tech hub in Malaysia. That is because Cyberjaya is fully equipped with infrastructure, resources, knowledge workers, and many other key ingredients necessary to create an attractive and viable tech and innovation ecosystem for companies to build on.

Twenty-six years on, the city is now a highly sought-after address for local businesses and Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) due to its conducive ecosystem. Now, with the new master plan in place, the city’s diverse tech and innovation landscape is expected to contribute RM250 billion in gross domestic product, create 87,000 jobs for the Malaysian economy, and attract 1,200 companies by 2045.

A Celebration of Innovation and Growth

So, what better way to celebrate Cyberjaya’s growth than by bringing together the city’s key players for this first-of-its-kind, multi-layered event championing innovation as a way of life? This celebration, of course, will be in alignment with the Malaysia Madani concept.

The two-week-long event will see government agencies, including Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), local authority agencies, the Sepang Municipal Council (MPS), and Cyberview Sdn Bhd, together with multinational corporations and institute of higher learnings, coming together to celebrate the spirit of tech innovation within the city by giving access and creating opportunities for tech industry players.
