Low code and no code platforms have been taking off in a big way in recent years, as they allow businesses to create applications with little to no coding. With these platforms, businesses of all sizes now have the capability to easily create custom apps that are tailored to their specific workflows.
Essentially, it takes the guesswork out of creating (potentially) amazing, modern business apps. Reduced complexity also causes less disruption. And according to Suresh Sambandam, CEO of Kissflow, that is exactly what Kissflow Low-Code can offer you.
Suresh indicated during a recent media briefing that their low code, no code solution (which they are calling “The Enterprise-Friendly Low-Code Platform,”) is designed to support both business users and citizen developers in their ability to build applications. Not only that but it also enables them to collaborate with the IT team to improve the application they’re developing so it’s full-fledged and robust.
“Most of our competitors either have a platform for citizen developers or they have a platform for IT developers to build applications, so this is what happens in the market,” claimed Suresh.
He also indicated that there are some aspects of developing an application that citizen developers or business users will be able to handle, such as building a form or a workflow, because they have the domain knowledge. However, Suresh pointed out that they won’t be able to do something more sophisticated, like integrate with an SAP application or a back-end system like Oracle, for instance. Hence, citizen developers and business users must work together to build a meaningful application.
That’s where Kissflow provides its single unified platform that puts both of these people together in a single integrated environment, allowing them to build powerful applications in a simple, easy-to-use, cost-effective, and time-saving manner.
During the Briefing, Suresh shared that Kissflow collaborates with a variety of businesses, including Total Oil, MODEC, McDermott, Pepsi, Michelin, and many more. Typically, their use-cases work similarly where they use Kissflow for all of their internal workflow automation, allowing business users to automate their business processes, internal approvals, and other internal procedures while their IT team handles the high-end technical integration.
Suresh explains that the fundamental value of Kissflow stems from their simplicity for the low code, no code platform that they provide, and that their brand slogan is “The power of simple,” making complicated things possible and simple.
