The launch of GPU Merdeka is a testament to Lintasarta and the Indosat Group’s larger purpose to empower Indonesia with AI technology. This is part of the company’s strategic expansion and builds on an initial collaboration announcement with NVIDIA made in early 2024, as well as Lintasarta’s status as an NVIDIA Cloud Partner in the NVIDIA Partner Network since late May.

GPU Merdeka will provide AI cloud infrastructure and platforms for national businesses, offering access to NVIDIA’s advanced GPUs and AI software with one of the highest-density data centers in the market. It will also provide access to enhanced capabilities in generative AI, machine learning, rendering, and computer-aided design (CAD) applications with powerful specifications and optimal cost and energy efficiency.

With the sovereign AI cloud, powered by NVIDIA accelerated computing, Lintasarta will position itself as a national AI cloud leader, bringing technological advancements and innovations for the digital transformation of national industry players. GPU Merdeka features high-performance GPU servers with a configuration of 8x NVIDIA H100 SXM Tensor Core GPUs in one server. This configuration provides capabilities for generative AI and accelerated computing not found in prior- generation NVIDIA GPUs.

With these advantages, GPU Merdeka is ideal for applications requiring high accuracy and performance, such as TNavigator and SLB Petrel high-performance computing in the oil and gas industry. The NVIDIA H100 SXM GPU on GPU Merdeka can handle advanced generative AI workloads with support for 3.35 TB/s bandwidth. In addition, the H100 GPU features third-generation RT Cores, ideal for rendering, 3D modeling, and CAD applications like AutoCAD.

GPU Merdeka is backed by AI data center infrastructure supporting up to 20 KW per rack, data center connectivity features up to 3.2 Tbps Infiniband RDMA per

server, and NVIDIA GPUDirect access to storage, enhancing overall service performance. GPU Merdeka customers will have free access to internet traffic up to 100 Gbps with integrated DDoS protection, providing high levels of comfort and security.
