The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) proudly announces the return of the DEX Connex Thailand 2024 programme, in conjunction with the prestigious Techsauce Global Summit 2024.

MDEC is committed to supporting Malaysian tech companies in expanding their international presence and fostering bilateral collaborations that drive innovation and economic growth. MDEC has upheld its commitment by bringing 51 Malaysian tech companies to participate in the programme, emphasising the collective efforts of all partners involved.

The key highlights of this programme are the exchanged of the Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), and Memorandum of Agreements (MoAs) documents between Malaysia and Thailand counterparts.

Through these MoUs and MoAs, Malaysian and Thailand companies will explore potential areas of cooperation such as joint ventures, technology transfers, and market access. By leveraging each other’s strengths and expertise, these partnerships aim to drive innovation, enhance competitiveness and create new opportunities for growth in the digital sphere.

The companies that exchanged the MoUs and MoAs were:

These partnerships have resulted in more than RM200 million worth of engagement and underscores the programme’s role in promoting Malaysian technology and innovation on the global stage.

Meanwhile, looking back at the achievements from the previous DEX Connex in Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia have seen over 100 companies participated in the programme thus, generating more than RM400 million in potential opportunities for Malaysian tech companies in these markets.

Following the previous MoU signing between MDEC and the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), this year’s second edition of DEX Connex enhances executive cooperation and promotes innovative collaborations. Meanwhile, RICOH Thailand, which signed a MoA at last year’s programme, will officially launch DocKITA® services in the Thai market this August. Ashisuto Global Technologies Sdn. Bhd. will offer DocKITA® services through RICOH’s digital marketing channels and Thailand’s sales team.
