Building on a history of collaborations like those with the University of Vienna and ELTE Budapest, MultiversX continues its educational initiative by providing underprivileged college students with the opportunity to take part in a Blockchain Essentials program with eCornell, the external education unit of Cornell University, a top-ranked global institution.

This program is the latest step in the company’s commitment to education, as introductory blockchain courses and hackathons have already been successfully conducted in partnership with colleges and universities around the world. MultiversX has teamed up with eCornell, a leading provider of online education, to launch a pioneering educational initiative.

A Pilot Blockchain Program from MultiversX

Starting this summer, the blockchain leader will offer a pilot Blockchain Essentials Certificate Program to 100 underserved, college-age students from anywhere in the world. MultiversX has pledged sponsorship to all participating students to cover their course fees.

This initiative aims to facilitate access to blockchain education, enabling students to explore the vast opportunities within this world-changing industry.

Participants will engage in eCornell’s Blockchain Certificate Program and, upon completion, will undertake a hands-on challenge using the tech firm’s blockchain technology stack. This practical exercise will not only reinforce their learning but also provide real-world experience to support them in their professional careers.

“Blockchain is an open book for anyone willing to read it. We’re still at the beginning of this story, so there’s plenty of room for anyone with innovative ideas that they want to bring to fruition. MultiversX’s collaboration with eCornell highlights our commitment to making our technology accessible to different communities all over the world, and it’s just one of the ways we’re streamlining the onboarding of builders to Web3 and to our ecosystem,” said Beniamin Mincu, CEO at MultiversX.

The program will be delivered in private cohorts, ensuring personalised attention and a supportive learning environment. Upon completion of the two-month eCornell program, students will have the opportunity to receive mentorship, support, and funding from MultiversX to develop blockchain projects that can benefit their communities.

This initiative is part of the public blockchain leader’s  broader efforts to foster innovation and support the next generation of blockchain entrepreneurs.
