Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, a leading provider of communications, networking, and cloud solutions tailored to customers’ industries, has extended its strategic partnerships in Singapore with ACA Pacific Technology and Exclusive Networks Singapore. This expansion aims to bring to market Network-as-a-Service by ALE (NaaS), in response to the rapidly increasing demand for accelerating digital transformation (DX) across various verticals and markets.

Network-as-a-Service by ALE is a flexible hybrid model to purchase Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Digital Age Networking solutions based on OmniSwitchesOmniAccess Stellar, and OmniVista Cirrus management platforms and associated value-added services. This enables ALE business partners and customers to bring multiple as-a-Service components together to simplify and automate network operations and provide deployment consistency, for network infrastructure that can be deployed quickly and scaled flexibly to meet their business needs.

With Network-as-a-Service by ALE, customers can purchase hardware and subscribe to software licences, applications, and services for what they need, providing flexible and customisable access to the latest network technology and advanced services with a low initial investment.

“As more businesses in Singapore embrace digital transformation and accelerate their adoption of cloud-based services, CIOs are reevaluating their current infrastructure and networks against the backdrop of an increasingly challenging global economy and the need to be financially prudent for the long run,” said Tee Jyh Chong, Vice President, Sales and Services, Asia Pacific, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise.

Chong added about Network-as-a-Service by ALE: “Our NaaS offering will transform how customers and partners can access and leverage our network solutions and services and enable them to simplify the foundation of their digital infrastructure. This will provide the flexibility and agility needed to adapt to the dynamic business demands of today and accelerate digital transformation without massive upfront expenditure.”

“Singapore’s recent Budget 2024 reflects the country’s strategic response to global challenges, while prioritising long term resilience. We look forward to offering Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s NaaS solutions to help enterprises large and small to deliver innovation at scale,” said Craig Gledhill, CEO, ACA Pacific Technology.

“We are thrilled to extend our long-standing partnership with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise to deliver NaaS solutions that meet the diverse needs of our customers in Singapore, as we strive to help them succeed at achieving their digital transformation strategies,” said Lilian Lam, Country Manager, Exclusive Networks Singapore.

Globally, the NaaS market was valued at USD $14 billion in 2023, and is projected to reach USD $192 billion by 2033, at a CAGR of 30% from 2024 to 2033. The Asia Pacific region is anticipated to grow the fastest, driven by different factors—including escalating digital transformation demands, increasing cloud adoption, and surging remote work.
