Following its global launch, the PICO 4 is now available in Malaysia. With the growing adoption of technology, VR has gained widespread recognition and has become a growing trend in various industries such as gaming, fitness and entertainment among others. Roadshow
Starting from the 13th of October up to the 16th of October, Malaysians can visit the Orange Concourse of Sunway Pyramid to get a first-hand experience of the various features of the PICO 4. During that time, patrons can enjoy a short film in stunning ultra 4k high-definition visual and binaural spatial audio using the VR headset, express their creativity as they draw on a blank canvas using the controllers, and experience VR gaming and fitness activities enhanced with the 6DoF spatial positioning and realistic haptic feedbacks from the HyperSense vibration controllers. Patrons are also encouraged to share the most creative picture and caption of their documented VR experience on social media with the hashtags #PICOXR, #PICO4 and #MY1stVR. Participants with the most creative caption and photo will be eligible to win exclusive prizes.
Each day, there will be 45-minute time slots at 12pm, 3pm and 6pm for patrons to compete in matches such as tennis, golf, darts, archery, bowling, boxing or badminton to stand a chance to win exclusive vouchers. Participants with the highest score of the day from Friday to Sunday will also be in the running to win a PICO 4.
Pricing and Availability
The PICO 4 128GB and 256GB is now available for purchase at RM1,699 and RM1,999, respectively, at authorised PICO dealers (Impulse Gaming, Thunder Match and Urban Republic), at PICO flagship stores on Shopee and Lazada and on TikTok Shop. Early birds who make their purchases between the 12th and the 16th of October can also enjoy RM100 off the devices.
To commemorate the launch of PICO 4 in Malaysia, PICO will also be offering users who make their purchases between now till January 2023 four free games to begin their VR journey. These include All-in-One Sports VR, Down The Rabbit Hole, OhShape and After The Fall.
