Tobelet Pte., Ltd. (“Tobelet”), developer and operator of DataXchain, a decentralized, artificial intelligence(“AI”)-powered data trade service announced its partnership with DeepBrainChain, the first and only blockchain supported AI application development platform in the world.
Under the partnership, DeepBrainChain will perform the role of a Super Peer to the DataXchain ecosystem. DataXChain is built to address current issues of data rights infringement by establishing a marketplace where data, which includes all forms of digital assets such as images, videos, music and information, can be assigned a commercial value and traded. DataXchain’s tailored data-matching platform, powered by AI technology from Xiilab, South Korea’s leading AI platform operator, creates an ecosystem consisting of data owners, data users, data labelers
and data inspectors, who can be individuals, companies, organizations and governments. As a Super Peer, DeepBrainChain will help verify and keep track of transactions on DataXchain’s blockchain3, thus reinforcing the integrity of the ecosystem while helping to boost the blockchain’s resilience to hacks, power failures as well as systemic crashes. In return, it will receive a portion of the trading revenue within the DataXchain ecosystem according to their computing power and blockchain services.
Given the significant computing resources needed to support data trading transactions, DataXchain will potentially benefit from its partnership with DeepBrainChain due to DeepBrainChain’s substantial GPU computing capacity and power. Under the partnership, Xiilab’s proprietary deep learning AI technology, Uyuni, complements the strength of DeepBrainChain’s GPU computing resources. Uyuni enables highlyefficient deep learning of data and supports simultaneous and multiple deep learning tracks. On the other hand, DeepBrainChain’s GPU computing resources are highly-scalable and it is able to optimally allocate these resources to achieve maximum GPU performance and bring DataXchain’s data processing capabilities to a higher level. DeepBrainChain is focused on supporting the development of AI landing applications and services, and it is creating its own ecosystem of AI enterprises, each with their own AI applications, hosted on and interconnected by blockchain. It is distinguished by its ability to offer a highly cost-effective turnkey solution to AI enterprises, in helping them develop applications efficiently, overcome various entry barriers from hardware requirements to talent and in particular, reduce their typically high computing hardware costs by up to 70%. DeepBrainChain is also able to provide comprehensive computational facilities that can accommodate high user and data traffic, and has sufficient AI resources that can accommodate fluctuating demand and automatic maintenance capabilities. Chief Executive Officer of ToBeLet, Frank Cha Seng Min said, “This partnership with DeepBrainChain is a significant kickstarter in DataXchain’s journey to promote the adoption our data trading system and transform the dynamics of data ownership in the current world. As DataXchain and its scale of data trading expands, a partnership as such is beneficial as we will have additional computing resources and be able to learn new and relevant AI expertise from DeepBrainChain. With DeepBrainChain’s own ecosystem of AI applications, data traffic imported from DeepBrainChain will also enrich DataXchain’s AI capabilities through more extensive data learning. In addition, we believe that the benefits are mutual as DeepBrainChain can also conduct data learning from its role as a Super Peer and apply this knowledge in the AI applications that operate in its own ecosystem. Moving forward, we will continue to explore more partnerships with other leading AI and database companies to expand the potential of DataXchain and be a key player in this market space.”
To kickstart the trading of data on the DataXchain platform, Tobelet is currently in discussions with various companies and institutions on their potential participation in data trading activity in various capacities such as data owners, data users, data labelers and data inspectors. At the same, it is putting up an open call for any company, organization or individual to join the consortium of parties to be engaged in data trading and enrichening data flows, with an aim to eventually enhance the robustness of the DataXchain ecosystem.
